Text Box: CHPA Definition

The CHPA is a not-for-profit association made up of minor hockey parents (members) who seek to be the prime representatives of their child's development and participation in minor hockey.

The CHPA is governed by an Advisory Council made up of several volunteers who help provide direction and guidance to the association, as well as through parent member voting on key issues.

An Advisory Director runs the day-to-day operations of the association.

Hockey parents that are members participate democratically and through internet interaction discussions on any subject matter raised by the advisory council or the membership in general.
